Microsoft Outlook 2002 (XP), 2003

  • Outlook allows you to add a new email account to your existing profile. This means you do not have to replace your current settings in order to send and receive Email messages. To configure your POP settings for Microsoft Outlook 2002 (sometimes referred to as Outlook XP) and 2003:

  1. From the Tools menu, select "Email Accounts." (If you do not see "Accounts," place your cursor over the two arrows at the bottom of the list to display more choices.)

Tools

  1. Select the radio button next to "Add a new email account" and click the "Next" button.
  2. Select the radio button next to "POP3" and click the "Next" button.

POP

  1. Enter the following information:

User Information

    • Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the "From" field of your outgoing messages.
    • Email Address: Enter your full Rodzoo! Business Email address (for example, "user@yourdomain.com").

Server Information

    • Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.rodzoo.com
       
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.rodzoo.com

Login Information

    • User Name: Enter your Rodzoo User Name (this is not your Rodzoo email address).
    • Password: Enter your Rodzoo Password.

ID and Password

  1. Do NOT check the box next to "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)."
  2. Click the "More Settings" box and select the "Outgoing Server" tab.
  3. Do NOT check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication."
